is it possible to release PHP scripts to PHPClasses.org under my own, non-free license?

Sure, submitting to PHP Classes you are allowing the site to share it with anybody. Make sure you include a license text file to tell others if and how they can use, modify and redistribute your class.

Thank you. When I try to add a class and select "Custom (specified in a license file)", I receive the error message "It were not added any license files to the class yet.", although I can not find any way to upload a license file. Of course, I can upload the license or link to it, but I can not see any option in the "Edit a class" form to do that.

Forget about my last message. I found a way to do it: I firstly chose another form of license, then upload the license file to my files and edit it to select it as a license text and finally uppdate the class information.

You need to add your class with any license, then go to the package page and click to upload or import your package files. Then you can edit your package definitions to set it to custom license.
