It probably has to do with the top blue bar or it might be the character encoding (there seem to be some wierd characdters in the source code) In any case it make the mail dificult to read.

This is a known problem. What happens is that Gmail intentionally strips some CSS attributes from the HTML messages. There seems to be nothing that can be done to make the displaced elements appear where they were intended.
