I have about 5000 PDF files that need to be imported into a database. Certain files have a logo that causes $pdf = new(PdfToText("$pdfname") to hang. There does not seem to be a way to upload the offending file. If I delete the logo, then all is well.

Could it be possible to send me some samples causing my class to hang at the following address :

Also, I have a few questions :
1) What is your platform ? Windows, Linux or Mac ?
2) What is your current PHP version ?
3) Which version of PdfToText are you using ? (you can find it at the start of the source, in the header comment)
