Stanislav Shramko - 2011-01-09 13:20:13Did you ever read PHP documentation? It says, for example, that the __toString method allows a class to decide how it will react when it is treated like a string. For example, what echo $obj; will print. If I will trust the documentation and try to use echo with the object of your class, this object will print itself to a standard output instead of being represented as a string and my echo will print a meaningless message. What if I will try to cast it to string?
